Daniel in the Den is the tenth song on Bastille's debut album Bad Blood.

Bad Blood was announced in January 2013, along with the track listing, as well as the next single "Pompeii". "Pompeii" was released in February 2013 on vinyl and as a digital download, and debuted at number 2 on the UK Singles Chart, as well as number 5 in the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 1 on the Alternative Songs chart. The single has been certified platinum in the UK, and double platinum in the US. Bad Blood was released on 4 March in the UK, and debuted at number 1 in the UK Albums Chart.
"Daniel in the Den" is the oldest song on Bad Blood written back when Dan Smith was still a solo artist.
